Clarity.

It's a bit of a weird word, isn’t it? It kind of makes me think of Claridge’s in London (not that I’m a regular visitor!), or Anthony Hopkins whispering “Clarice” in Silence of the Lambs.

But in real life?

Clarity is magic. The moment things stop feeling foggy. When the lightbulb pings on. When you go, “Ohhh, THAT’S what I need to do.”

And when it hits, things move. Fast.

In my 6 C’s of Coaching framework, Clarity is right up there for a reason. Because without it, how can we expect to move forward in life, business, or anything in between?

What does clarity actually do?

Clarity gives you direction.

It turns vague goals into action steps.

It stops you spinning your wheels.

But the truth is, clarity doesn’t just arrive one morning while you’re brushing your teeth.

You’ve got to create the space for it. Invite it in. Let it settle.

So, how do you find clarity?

Let’s start with the question I love asking clients (and myself):

👉 Where do you actually want to be?

If I answer this 100% honestly, then it would be on a tropical beach reading a book   in peace whilst listening to the waves lapping up in front of me.

If I answer with business in mind then it’s the same.

Huh, I hear you cry…

In order for my business to succeed I need to succeed in myself and for me it’s often not what I have but where I am.

My business means I can pretty much work from anywhere, which means that if I want to be in a place of calm and still then that’s what will help my business.

👉 What does your future self look like?

When you think of your future, how far ahead do you look? 1 day, 1 month, 1 year,  10 years?

What about if you looked at yourself now? What does that look like right  now? Are you fully present with yourself?

When we are, the future can become whatever you want it to be, it’s a choice, you make it.

👉 Do you believe you can get there?

This can often be a difficult one to answer for many, because it’s a big option you have to make. You may need some inner work done first before you can truly believe this.

I have helped so many people with limiting beliefs with simple deep relaxation and hypnotherapy sessions

SOME of the benefits of hypnosis:

  • The effectiveness of hypnosis depends on the individual but as a master hypnosis practitioner, I help people overcome habits that we have allowed to enter our minds that no longer serve us and experience an improved sense of wellbeing.
  • Hypnosis basically uses guided relaxation, concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness. In this state, you focus your attention on specific thoughts, you take what your unconscious mind wants to receive.

Here’s the good news…

Clarity isn’t reserved for the “lucky ones.” It’s there for all of us.

Here’s how to start inviting it in today:

1. Create space

Mental fog loves chaos. Clear your space - your desk, your mind, your digital clutter. Make room for clear thoughts to land.

2. Identify your non-negotiables

What do YOU need to feel like you? Morning coffee? A walk? Silence? A dance break?

These little rituals = BIG clarity boosts. Prioritise them.

3. Do one thing at a time

Multitasking might feel productive, but it’s a clarity killer.

Try single-tasking for a change. Whether it’s thinking, writing, or just being - immerse yourself in it. Watch what happens.

Lightbulb moments from my own journey

You are unique. Sounds obvious but it took me a while to really see that my DNA is my own, so therefore I am my own person. My dreams, desires. wishes will be different to yours, that’s good.  I do NOT need to be like everyone else to get to where I want to be.

Staying in your own lane.  Being completely transparent here for a LONG time, I looked at everyone else and decided I wanted to be them. I wanted their life, I wanted their business, I wanted their ideas. I guess it was easier, I could just follow them, copy them and things would be easy. Smack in the face when I realised I had NO desire to be like anyone else, it held me back for more time than needed and more energy wasted in the wrong direction. I see that now. I learnt.

Focusing on YOU. Ok, so this one took me an even longer time! I had been brought up to get on with things, do this, do that, I never once watched my mum have any time for herself. That hit home. Who was I living this life for? Everyone else or me? Finding out about you, what you love to do and what brings you the most smiles, both inside and out, is a gamechanger.
